The CINEFANTASY - FANTASTIC INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL with the aim of encouraging, discussing and transmitting the fantastic genre of films and their universe.

A genre that has the creative potential that allows exploration in unknown and unique territories, promotes imagination and also presents current and necessary topics.

In the last 9 editions, we presented 927 films, 53 creative workshops, 3,308 ed films and attracted more than 20 thousand people who participated in the festival.

In our last edition, our free media exhibitor was valued at R $ 12.7 million and impacted more than 15.8 million people.

Cinefantasy is a founding member of FANTLATAM - LATIN AMERICAN ALLIANCE OF FANTASTIC CINEMA FESTIVES, which is a federation of festivals in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Panama and Uruguay. Promotes exchange, cooperation and sharing between festivals.

The 10th CINEFANTASY, held in São Paulo from September 8 to 13, included a schedule scheduled for educational activities and also nominated competing films and other exhibitions. All categories of the competition received the JOSÉ MOJICA MARINS trophy on the closing night.

The dissemination, inclusion and democratization of the ission process has been our policy since 2008 to promote CINEFANTASY, with two special programs; "CINEFANTASY ESQUENTA" and "CINEFANTASY CIRCULA". "ESQUENTA CINEFANTASY" is a meeting held on the outskirts of São Paulo and which presents a version of the director with comments. And also "CIRCULA CINEFANTASY", mobile exhibitions of previous editions of films, further expanding its audience.
