Dardenne Brothers win Positive Cinema Prize - Cannes 2025 5n3y2j
The Dardenne Brothers took home the Positive Cinema Prize for their newest film Jeunes Merés, A contender for this year's Palme d'Or. Juenes Merés, their 10th feature on the croisette, follows five teenage mothers who live together in a shelter trying to make a better life for themselves and their children. The Positive Cinema Prize is awarded as part of Positive Cinema Week, an event dedicated to cinema that awakens consciousness, remains alert, questions the film industry, and puts art at the service of a fairer and more inclusive society.
